Nosebleed
The Medical name for a nosebleed is epistaxis. The nose is a sensitive area and has more blood vessels. Nosebleeds can be frightening, but they aren't usually a sign of anything serious and can often be treated at home. Blood flows from one or both nostrils during a nosebleed. It can be heavy or light. But it can last from a few seconds to 15 minutes or more.
