Nose bleeding is a common problem, especially in summer. When the temperature gets high and dryness increases, it creates many problems. Nose bleed is one of them. During a nosebleed, blood flows from the nostrils. It can be heavy or light. It lasts from a few seconds to 15 minutes or more.
Causes:

- Cold

Preventions

- Make sure you take enough water throughout the day because lack of liquid intake throughout the day can lead to dryness in the mucous membranes causing nose bleeds.
- Vitamin K and Vitamin C in food help in blood clotting and will stop nose bleeding faster.
- Take an ice cube. Just rub ice in your nose to reduce swelling in the blood vessels. It also effectively helps with controlling nose bleeding.
- Inhaling steam is a great way to prevent nose bleeding.
- To deal with this problem immediately, sit upright and lean forward. By the upright position of your face, you reduce blood pressure in the veins of your nose. Keep the lining of the nose moist.
