PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a bespoke service that can assist in the handling of household chores and errands while you're in the hospital.

Hospitalization is a stressful experience, not only for patients but also for their families and friends. As part of Mayom's commitment to making your stay in the hospital as comfortable as possible, we take care of the little things. As part of its support services, Mayom works with a range of service providers to provide support services to patients, caregivers, and visitors.

Follow the policy.

Please adhere to our NO SMOKING policy.

  •   Follow visitor guidelines to ensure the rights and comfort of all patients. Be mindful of noise levels, privacy, and safety. Weapons are not permitted on the premises.
  •   Treat hospital staff, other patients, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
  •   In time for the appointment. In case of cancellation or change of reservation, please cancel or change as soon as possible.
  •   Do not give prescription drugs to others.
  •   Provides complete and accurate information about insurance claims and works with hospital and physician clearinghouses to make payment arrangements.
  •   Communicate with health care providers if their condition worsens or does not progress as expected.
  •   Respect the fact that other patients' medical conditions are more urgent than your own, and accept that the physician must address those medical conditions first.
  •   Respect for hospitalized patients and patients requiring urgent care is a physician's priority.
  •   Follow the prescribed treatment regimen and carefully follow the instructions given.
  •   "If necessary", accepts environmental adjustments to ensure safe hospitalization.
  •   Accept the steps taken by hospitals to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of medical records.
  •   Attend requested/recommended follow-up appointments.
  •   Do not take any medicine without the knowledge of your doctor or health care professional.
  •   Accurate and true historical records.
  •   Understand patient rights and seek clarification when necessary.
  •   Take prescribed medications until treatment is complete.
  •   Provide feedback when asked.
  •   Accept financial responsibility for the health care you receive and pay your bills promptly and on time.

 

Patient and Family Rules

  •   Seek screening and emergency services without prior approval in the event of severe pain, injury, or sudden illness that endangers the patient's life.
  •   Know treatment options and participate in the patient care process and decisions about patient care.
  •   Accepting or refusing treatment, including tests, tests and diagnostic procedures, after obtaining sufficient information to make an informed decision about accepting or refusing treatment.
  •   To receive compassionate, respectful, non-discriminatory care and be treated equally by physicians, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, religion, caste, etc.
  •   To be informed of patient rights in a manner/language the patient can understand. Receive her
